Liz Earle Daily Essentials

All the way back at Christmas I asked for the Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish Christmas Tin because I had heard Velvetgh0st on YouTube talk about it so much.

I was intrigued by this product because it seemed to be brilliant at taking off makeup and making your skin look amazing! I loved my little Cleanse and Polish bottle and when I went into Boots and saw they did an essentials kit for only £45 I couldn’t resist!

The kit comes in a beautiful blue box that reminds me a lot of Tiffany’s blue which I love! I also love about this box is that you can use it to store your products in so they don’t get lost in your bathroom which has been a huge help.

Within this box you get five products! And they are all full sized (apart from the exfoliator) which I found amazing and such a good value for money! In the box you get two muslin cloths, the cleanse and polish, the gentle face exfoliator, instant boost skin tonic and the skin repair moisturiser. All this is carefully packed in with tissue so you know it will stay safe within the box and not knock about.

The first product I use is the Cleanse and Polish hot cloth cleanser. I have prior knowledge of this product and what I find is that it is amazing for taking off makeup, even stubborn eye makeup. The bottle is absolutely huge and will last you ages, I’ve had this since May and I don’t think I’ve used half of it yet! You use this product with the Muslin cloths to take your makeup off and to make your face feel a little fresher.

The muslin cloths come in their own bag so they don’t get ruined and I love how you get two in the box! These cloths do get dirty because they are taking off your makeup and dirt etc. so having two definitely helps (especially after nights out and thick makeup days). These cloths are so soft and don’t irritate my skin at all!

I then follow this with the Instant Boost Skin Tonic that I lightly shake onto a cotton pad. I barely use any of this when I wash my face but it works wonders. My skin always feels so soft and silky after I use this product it is amazing! The only issue is because it is a weird screw top type lid you have to make sure you always close it, otherwise, it’ll go everywhere!

The last product I use is the Skin Repair Moisturiser. This moisturiser is amazing at making your skin feel incredibly soft and isn’t too heavy so I know it’s not clogging my pores up. I do find it quite watery and it does take a little while to soak into the skin properly but when it does it has amazing effects!

The last product I use but not as often as the other ones is the Gentle Face Exfoliator. This exfoliator is amazing at getting rid of spots and any blocked pores but because it is smaller than the other products and I don’t want it to run out too soon I use this only two to three times a week and it still works wonders! It is quite rough but it’s meant to be and all the little beads get into your pores so well making sure they’re clean.

I definitely recommend this product and for only £45 and being what I’d call a high end skincare product it is totally worth the money! You can find this in many Boots store so go have a look and let me know what you think!

You can buy the Liz Earle Daily Essentials kit here (make sure you choose the right skin type though, I forgot but luckily picked up the right one, phew!)

Until next time.
