Revenge Review

Revenge is a TV show that aired between 2011 and 2015. It was a TV show my boyfriend suggested we should watch and it was a complete thrill ride from start to finish. If you’re looking for something new to binge watch I definitely recommend this.

Revenge follows Amanda Clarke a young woman who’s father was framed for a terrorist attack when she was young. She has now returned to her old home where she lived with her father but now lives under the alias of Emily Thorne. Emily/Amanda wants to take revenge on the people who framed her father by basically ruining their lives. These people include the Graysons, a wealthy family that include Victoria and Conrad, the two main perpetrators in Emily’s father’s imprisonment. With the help of Nolan, a family friend of the Clarke’s, Emily takes her revenge, but with some very interesting consequences.

This show is incredibly addictive. The further you fall down the rabbit hole the more you want to learn about these characters and their pasts. The way they change and grow through the series’ too is incredibly interesting and will have you screaming at your TV  screen in shock at what is happening.

This series does go on for a while even though there are only four seasons, and there are moments where you think: well this is a bit ridiculous isn’t it? But if you watch it to the end it is definitely worth it. The twists in some of the episodes too! You kind of feel like you knew that was coming but at the same time it still surprises you.

Have you seen Revenge? What do you think of the series?

Until next time.
