I have never heard of this before, I went into the trailer completely blind and I am so, so, so excited for this movie!

Ready Player One seems to follow people who go into a VR sort of simulation where they can play with hundreds of different characters and people including Harley Quinn, The Iron Giant and Freddy Kruger to name a few. Where did they get the rights to all these people?!

There is also car races where you can pick whatever car you want to drive, even the one from Back to the Future, and drive around a race track. Very GTA.

But beyond this, in the real world, it seems everything has come to an end as they live in homes squashed on top of each other and the world is a wasteland, is this game a way of escaping? And will it transfer into the real world overtime?

This movie was a book so we could just go and read it all and possibly find the answers but I’d rather wait and watch it on the big screen because it looks beautiful.

I am incredibly excited for this movie as it is something completely different that I have never seen before. I think it’s going to be an absolutely stunning movie with a lot of hidden easter eggs and a lot of action. I can’t wait!
