Goodbye Christopher Robin Trailer Review

This movie looks adorable! It’s time to learn the beginning of Winnie the Pooh…

This movie is based on a true story about the man who created the Winnie the Pooh books. His son was called Christopher Robin and was the main inspiration for the books, which is why he is a character in them. Christopher Robin had toys of all the characters and would love to go to the woods with his dad and tell stories. His dad used to perform on stage but found he didn’t enjoy that job anymore so gave it up and moved to the countryside with his family. Here he came up with Winnie the Pooh alongside another book he was writing urging people not to go to war. Christopher Robin’s dad has PTSD which is shown a lot in the movie showing how he has to deal with that as well as providing for his family and writing his books. Of course overtime he loses sight over why he began this journey and I’m guessing there’s a heartwarming moment where he goes back to the woods and plays Pooh sticks with his son again.

This movie looks adorable! It looks like a really heartwarming movie with a lot of love to give. Winnie the Pooh is a staple in so many peoples’ lives I can imagine there won’t be a dry eye in the room watching this movie. It looks like a proper British movie with a wonderful cast and a great storyline – knowing it’s the true story too makes it even more exciting.

I can’t wait for this movie to be released as I want to see it straight away! It will definitely be a wonderful watch and I can’t wait to find out how Winnie the Pooh was found and what that meant for the family.

But then the main question stands: why is it called Goodbye Christopher Robin?

Are you excited to see this movie?

Until next time.
