Goodbye 2017! Wow, where did that year go? 2017 was one of the craziest years for me, I learnt to drive and passed my test on my second try, got my first ‘adult’ 9-5 job which I absolutely love, and got my own domain! Goodbye wordpress.com! But now, 2017 in over, in future posts coming soon I will look back on the highs and lows of TV and film from that year, for now though, let’s look forward to 2018 and the things I really want to watch.

Mamma Mia: Here We Go Again

Ok, this looks ridiculous but at the same time who doesn’t love a cheesy musical? The first movie was a classic and something everyone enjoyed so I am interested to see how they continue on from the original story and what songs we get to sing along to in the cinema too!

Avengers Infinity War

Come on now, this is the big one! The one we’ve all been waiting for and I can’t wait to see how it does. I am much more a Marvel fan than DC so I hope this movie knocks my socks off.

Talking of superhero movies I am also very excited for Black Panther, Deadpool 2, Aquaman and Antman and The Wasp.

Ready Player One

This movie just looks fun! It looks like something you’d really enjoy watching but I am unsure on the storyline at the moment.

Tomb Raider

I was never into the original Tomb Raider’s but this one peaked my interest. It looks fun and interesting and I mean Lara Croft is body goals so there’s that too!

Mary Poppins Returns

Mary Poppins’ was a movie I loved as a kid so I am intrigued as to how they will remake it. I’m getting some Nanny McPhee vibes too and I loved that movie so let’s hope this movie is good and not just another cash grab.

Halloween

I love Halloween, horror movies are my favourites so I am very excited to see what they do with this. I hope it’s good and doesn’t become too cheesy or too over the top as many horror movies are these days.

The Commuter

This looks thrilling, it’s the only way I can describe it and from watching the trailer I want to know more. It seems like a simple idea but could become quite complex and that’s what I’m hoping for.

Incredibles 2

Move over kids – this movie is made for people in their 20s! The Incredibles was an amazing film so let’s just hope this one is just as good. I still absolutely love Jack-Jack I think he’s the cutest cartoon baby ever!

Ralph Breaks the Internet

I’ll be honest, Wreck it Ralph made me cry when I went to see it so I hope this movie is just as good. I love the many easter eggs in the first movie so hope the second will be very similar. Disney are usually pretty good with their movies so I hope this one can reach my standards.
