Bad Neighbors Review
I watched this movie ages ago with my friends but rewatched it recently as I saw it on Netflix and thought why not? And let me tell you…it still holds up!
Bad Neighbors follows Mac and Kelly a couple who have moved into a house with their daughter Stella. The house next to theirs is sold and a fraternity moves in and causes all sorts of havoc. Mac and Kelly realise they have to sort it out otherwise it will literally ruin their lives and they hatch plan after plan to get the boys evicted from their home. It’s incredibly funny and clever with a very good cast as well (who doesn’t love staring at Zac Efron’s abs?).
Anyway, I digress, whether you watch this movie with friends or alone you’re bound to have a good time. The jokes are clever if a bit dumb at times, the storyline flows easily, and the actors are very fun to watch. Even Stella didn’t do too bad and she can’t really take direction at all!
I think this movie gives a good insight into new parent life with an added twist and is very honest. It’s not all sunshine and rainbows and nappy changes, it’s a lot of wanting to be an adult too and have fun but also having the responsibility of someone else.
I thoroughly enjoyed this movie and I definitely suggest you give it a go.
Until next time.
