Coco Review
All I’m finding at the moment with DisneyPlus is that it is letting me catch up on any movies I have missed recently. So I decided to watch Coco, and I cried.

Coco follows a young lad called Miguel who would love to be a performer like his idol Ernesto de la Cruz, but his family forbid music due t his great grandfather leaving his wife and daughter to pursue music and never returning.
On Day of the Dead Miguel manages to accidentally travel to the land of the dead where he meets his ancestors as well as his idol and learns the importance of family, forgiveness, and how your idols could not be all they seem.
This movie is utterly gorgeous, from its storyline to its animation to its music, it keeps you entertained and engaged from the get go and really makes you appreciate your family and the people around you. I loved delving into a world and custom I had little knowledge of (apart from that one Lizzie McGuire episode) and exploring something new and different to me.
I had seen online people talking about how emotional this movie is but the ending did really make me well up. Disney has a beautiful way of making you feel for their characters and stories and this movie is no exception. I do feel I should’ve watched it sooner based on how good it is but still being able to experience it now is great.
I definitely recommend this movie as it is a wonderful tale and Disney has knocked it out of the park again. Maybe I’ll keep DisneyPlus for a few more months…
What do you think?
Until next time.
