Most Read Reviews of 2020!
We have finally made it to 2021! But before we carry on this journey of a new year I want to look back at my most read reviews of 2020. Despite everything that happened, 2020 was the biggest year for this little website and I couldn’t be more proud of it, so let’s look together at my most read reviews of 2020.
Unsurprisingly the number one for the past few years has been this review and I’m so glad that it can help people make better bath bomb choices, especially with light hair, as my blonde hair went Salmon pink a few years back thanks to a very particular bath bomb which I don’t think you can buy any more. But still I’m glad you enjoy the review and I’m very much looking forward to seeing how it does in 2021 too.
I’m not surprised this is number two because if you want to get to know me better why not start at my favourite movie? This movie is still my favourite, it still makes me cry every time I watch it, and if you haven’t seen it already I cannot recommend it highly enough.
I’m surprised this review did as well as it did. I absolutely adore Daniel Sloss and maybe 2020 was the year he started making waves online, but his two Netflix specials really resonated with me and were things that I enjoyed and the second one, Jigsaw, is on this list too so I highly recommend both reviews to you.
When the IT remake was announced I did a comparison between the Tim Curry Pennywise and the Bill Skarsgard Pennywise and what I liked and disliked about them both. I’m surprised this review has done so well this year but I guess with both movies being out now more people may be finding it and so finding my review too. Which Pennywise do you prefer?
I am not surprised this review did so well. People love sex, sex sells, and so for a dating show about meeting a person naked then getting to know them with clothes on later, to be so highly read I am not surprised. Especially as it was one of my more controversial reviews…
As I said a moment ago Daniel Sloss’ both Netflix specials made waves on my website although this one is the one I prefer more because I found it much more deeper and much more interesting. It really does make you think about your life and what you’re doing with it despite it being a comedy show. I cannot recommend this comedy special enough, if you haven’t read my review or haven’t watched it, please do because it is excellent.
The only semi-Christmas review to be quite high this year. Die Hard is of course a staple of any yearly viewing and is always controversial about whether it is a Christmas movie or not. I do believe it is although I am surprised to see it on this list. Maybe more of my Christmas reviews will do well this year too.
A movie that could’ve been so great but sadly fell short. This is one of those films are really interest you with the premise and the idea but the actual execution just didn’t hold up to what I was expecting. A good horror that could’ve been so much better.
My personal favourite Addams Family movie because I just adore Debbie and all the funny lines that surround her. A review that I very much enjoyed writing so would highly recommend you to read as it is not just a Halloween movie but one that I believe can be enjoyed all year long.
And finally…
All I have to ask myself for this one is why? Why was American Pie 2 so loved and read? It’s very interesting and I sadly don’t have the answer but I’m glad that people enjoyed it. Maybe in some ways American Pie 2 is more read than the first American Pie because it is the first sequel and so of course the first sequel is always the one that is compared to most. Read it and let me know what you think.
I wish you all a wonderful 2021! It’s going to be a fantastic year I’m sure and regardless of whatever happens just try to make the most of it. Remember that there’s always a new day ahead of you and we will get through this together.
Until next time.
