Britney vs Spears Review
I feel this may be the most in-depth documentary I’ve watched on the Britney Spears conservatorship and that’s because the documentarian clearly cared for the case and Britney on a deeper level.
We all know now that Britney Spears was in a conservatorship with her father due to them thinking she was unstable and not fit to care for herself, yet was still able to do many tours and many shows and basically live her normal life with no free will.
I do see her family as manipulating and controlling her. It’s hard not to see it that way especially as they gained so much from the conservatorship that really they were not entitled to. Can you imagine being in the public eye and having all those cameras and stories and people talking about you and not going crazy? I can’t imagine how much pressure and awfulness that brings to your life because you literally can’t do anything without being followed.
I definitely feel she was taken advantage of and Britney deserved a much better life than she got, but I am just glad that she is out of it now and I’m glad this documentary was made because it gave you so much more in-depth details about everything that you wouldn’t have known before.
However now we are turning a new leaf with the conservatorship ending, how Britney is now engaged and how she is now able to be her own free self, I feel it’s time to let it lie. Britney has been through so much in her life and she deserves to live the life now that she wishes. If that means cancelling everything and retiring so be it, if that means her bringing out new music so be it, but I want at the end of the day to make sure that she is happy because her happiness is the most important thing and while her father may no longer have control of her life neither should the public and what she does next.
If you want to learn more about Britney Spears and her conservatorship then this is an absolutely incredible documentary to do that. As I said it’s the most in-depth one I have found and I do hope now that it is over she can go on to live the life that she wants and be happy, and hopefully we can allow this sorry affair to rest and we can learn from it and not allow it to happen again, but also not dwell on it too much because that’s not going to help her in any way.
What do you think of the Britney Spears conservatorship?
Until next time.
