Conor McGregor: Notorious Review

Conor McGregor from an outsider‘s point of view has always come across as very cocky, very over the top and full of himself. Watching this documentary you actually come to realise how and why he became the man he is today and how in many ways his cockiness and what he is doing is justified.

In this documentary we follow Conor McGregor from when he was still living at home with his mum and his girlfriend to now the multimillionaire MMA fighter that he is. We see all of the reasons why he got into fighting in the first place and how that became his passion and how he wanted to change the game forever. It’s a truly inspirational rags to riches story where you really see that if you concentrate on one thing and put all your time and effort and hard work into that it can become something incredible.

In the documentary we see Conor McGregor fight a lot of his big fights that gave him the featherweight championship belt as well as the lightweight championship belt too. The fact that this man never stops is so inspirational because it shows that even when you hit your goal you always find a new one and never give up. I found watching this documentary fascinating to understand more of his past but also motivational to give me that kick up the bum to follow my own passions and hobbies and really put my all into them to see where they take me.

I wasn’t a big fan of Conor McGregor going into this documentary but I have really enjoyed watching documentaries on celebrities recently, including the J-Lo one, and so going into this I did have a slight skewed view on who he was and it wasn’t in the most positive light. However, coming out of it I see him completely differently now. You can see why he’s put so much time and effort into his fighting and you can see why he’s so cocky because he did put that ground work in. He is simply a man that said I’m going to do this and he achieved it time and time again, it is absolutely incredible if you need some motivation to go after everything you want in your life. I highly recommend this documentary.

Whatever your opinion of Conor McGregor is, whether you think he is a good guy or a bad guy, watching his documentary will give you such an interesting look into his life and how he got to where he is and it will really help you find motivation in yourself too. I cannot recommend it enough and as I’ve already said it has completely changed my opinion on the man and I definitely will be looking at what he is doing more in the future because I do find him and his work ethic so motivational.

What do you think of Conor McGregor?

Until next time.
